News Nebraska Book Company expands PRISM store management software in partnership with Alloken Shelf Control Lincoln, NE Nebraska Book Company, in partnership with Alloken, LLC, today announces the release of a new product that provides college bookstores the power for automated shelf control with inventory management. Nebraska Book Company has enhanced its industry-leading PRISM software suites to include automated Shelf Control from Alloken. PRISM comprehensive inventory and point-of-sale solutions currently support the successful operations of hundreds of bookstores. PRISM offers bar code scanning, complete inventory control and connections to financial accounting systems. The addition of Alloken's Shelf Control to the PRISM suites operating systems uses formulas to automatically determine the best placement of textbooks on store shelves. This complex process results in uniform layouts and makes finding books easier for customers. The combined systems also provide automatic adjustments for late faculty selection of textbooks.
