News GotUsed Bookstore Announces Fabulous Sweepstakes October 1, 2003 A student from ASU will win a trip to L.A. and The Price is Right. As a member of the GotUsed network, The College Store has access to the nation’s largest supply of used textbooks and participates in a nationwide sweepstakes. In previous GotUsed sweepstakes, students have won everything from a NYC hotdog cart to $5,000 cash to a fully customized 1983 conversion van worth $75,000. This year, a grand prize winner will be selected from each GotUsed bookstore and awarded a trip for two to L.A. The winners can choose to attend tapings of shows such as The Price is Right, Hollywood Squares or Wheel of Fortune. Students that register at The College Store or on-line at GotUsed.com are eligible to win. Larry Johnson, manager of The College Store said, “I wish I could win, but the official rules say employees aren’t eligible. The students really seem to like it and keep talking about spaying or neutering their pets.” Students can also win instant prizes with the GotUsed scratch off game when they sell their books at The College Store. |
