Nebraska Book Company Adds Customers for Retail Management Systems

Nebraska Book Company has demonstrated the powerful advantages of the PRISM and WinPRISM systems and has signed more than 12 new contracts with leading college bookstores during the past three months.

PRISM and WinPRISM, developed by the NBC Retail Management Systems group, are fully integrated retail management systems that allow college bookstores to connect front- and backoffice information, including bar code scanning, point of sale, book buy, inventory control and financial accounting. CampusHub provides complete e-commerce solutions for college bookstores, including customized websites.

NBC recently announced a new relationship with CourseSmart, a comprehensive digital course materials, to provide content for NBC Jumpbooks®. The product allows to establish themselves as the primary distribution channel for eTextbooks.

Over the past three months, these leading college bookstores have selected Nebraska Book Company as their Retail Management Systems provider and signed significant new contracts:

• The Demon Bookstore, Natchitoches, Louisiana, serving Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, has selected WinTEXT In-Store from NBC as their textbook management system.
• Los Angeles City College, Los Angeles, California, part of the Los Angeles Community College District, has selected NBC as their new partner. LACC is moving to full WinPRISM with WinPRISM POS, and adding CampusHub e-commerce.
• Textbook Club, Phoenix, Arizona, has selected NBC automation with WinTEXT and WebPRISM from CampusHub.

During this period, these outstanding college bookstores have expanded their existing commitment to Nebraska Book Company systems:

• Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan, has joined CampusHub as a user of e-commerce solution.
• Canadore College, North Bay, Ontario, has added the Wireless EDA solution to their existing WinPRISM system.
• Castleton State College, Castleton, Vermont, has added WinPRISM POS to their existing WinPRISM system.
• Colorado College, Colorado Springs, Colorado, has chosen Jumpbooks Digital Delivery System for their campus.
• Linfield College, McMinnville, Oregon, has purchased WinPRISM to migrate from PRISM.
• Northwest University, Kirkland, Washington, has added CampusHub e-commerce to improve service to their students.
• Saints Bookstore, Liberal, Kansas, has expanded their services with Jumpbooks Digital Delivery System.
• SAIT Polytechnic, Calgary, Alberta, has added CampusHub e-commerce and the Jumpbooks Digital Delivery System to complement their existing WinPRISM system.
• University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY has added the Jumpbooks Digital Delivery System to expand services to students.
