Nebraska Book Company Announces Acquisition of Nine New Bookstores

One of our key strategic initiatives is to continue to grow our business through the acquisition of new bookstores. We are constantly searching for high-quality stores with top-notch management and dedicated employees. We are also looking for the right opportunities that show outstanding growth potential.

In keeping with our strategy, we are pleased to announce the acquisition of nine new bookstores, including:

• CP Textbooks, serving Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte
• Harry’s Bookstore, serving the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh
• Indy’s College Bookstore, serving Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis
• Panther Bookstore, serving the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
• Ram Book and Supply, serving the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
• Roadrunner Bookstore, serving the University of Texas, San Antonio
• Seahawk Book and Supply, serving the University of North Carolina, Wilmington
• University Bookstore, serving San Antonio College
• University Bookstore, serving the University of Texas, San Antonio

We continue to operate a de-centralized management model within our bookstores. This model challenges our bookstore managers to be entrepreneurs and operate their bookstore as their own small business. The management talent in these stores is the perfect match, add to that, our commitment and track record – we are well positioned for success with these bookstores.

Including these acquisitions, Nebraska Book Company now owns and operates over 260 stores nationwide.
