At NBC, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer support for the various software solutions we offer. Our support division was created in 1985 along with the release of our first software product. Currently, there are 35 experts on hand to address virtually any issue a customer may have. Each member of our support team has extensive knowledge of and experience with all our software solutions, including the PRISM suites and Legacy products. In addition to simply taking issue calls, our support employees are responsible for writing all the user documentation and updating our support Web site.

POS/Inventory Solutions

For more than 15 years, Nebraska Book Company, Inc., has designed, developed and supported computer software for university and college bookstores. Today, our PRISM™ and WinPRISM™ products offer bar code scanning, point-of-sale, on-line buyback, complete inventory control and financial accounting.

• All of our inventory applications include the NBC Buyer’s Guide, in addition to electronic communication services via PUBNET and EasyLink.

Which system is right for you? PRISM runs under Unix on an Ethernet or Token Ring network while WinPRISM runs under Windows NT or 2000 in a client-server configuration. Released in 1993, PRISM is a text-based Unix-native product while WinPRISM, released in 2000, is a Windows-native product.
