Welcome to Spectrum 2008

Dear NBC*PRISM User:

You are cordially invited to Nebraska Book Company's second annual international users' meeting, Spectrum 2008. Last year's meeting proved to be a productive forum for learning and exchanging ideas, and lot of fun to boot. From the feedback we received, everyone felt their time was well spent having picked up more knowledge of their system during the two and a half day convention. We hope that your plans will allow you to join us this year.

We believe this meeting offers tremendous value to your store. Not only will you be able to learn more about the latest enhancements to your software, you will have the opportunity to share your ideas, network with other users, and meet and interact with staff members from CBMS and theCampusHub. While many users have found the more limited regional users' meetings valuable, this meeting will be more in depth, with a variety of hands-on sessions, panel discussions, and focus groups to participate in.

The meeting will be held from Tuesday, April 8, through Thursday, April 10, at the Embassy Suites hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska. Plan to arrive on Monday, April 7, in time to attend the opening reception. And, in case this is your first trip to Lincoln, you may also want to tour our facilities.

The registration fee is $600 per person which covers all meals and materials.

We have negotiated a group rate of $110 per night with the Embassy Suites. Published rates for these rooms are $159-169. This rate will be available until March 16, 2007, or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. Please keep this in mind as you firm up your plans. Our group name is Spectrum 2008 and our group code is SPE. There is a link to the hotel from this page so you make your hotel reservation online. If you prefer to call the hotel, the local number is (402) 474-1111. Be sure to mention Spectrum 2008.

The meeting agenda is still being finalized. It will be available after November 15.

We hope you will be able to join us for a meeting that should prove to be stimulating, fruitful, and fun. If you have any questions, please e-mail ghankins@nebook.com or phone (800) 733-4489. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,
Gail Hankins
